Cell values:
 The value in each cell is the average precipitation for the 
month at that x,y location.  It is a continuous variable in units 
(increments) of 2 mm (ie. multiple the values by 2 to get mm of 
precipitation).  The precipitation data was calculated using 
the station records data from NCDC's Global Historical 
Climatological Network, V1 data by Wolfgang Cramer.  Ocean and 
missing data have values of zero, and there are also areas of no
precipitation within the scene.
